      Description: AWEA and DWEA are partnering again for the 2013 Small & Community WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition. This collaboration has brought new elements to this event to make it even more relevant to distributed wind professionals from those focusing on 1 kW to mid-sized to utility scale turbines. Plus, an enhanced focus on fostering relationships with dealers, installers and distributers. There is something for everyone involved in distributed wind industry AND those that are just beginning to learn about wind with consumer focused sessions in the exhibit hall.

      The primary goal of the Small & Community WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition is to unite wind industry leaders with economic development groups, municipalities and consumers eager to play a bigger role in the use and expansion of distributed and community wind. Not to mention training on dealing with common industry barriers. Learn the latest on national renewable energy legislation, technology costs, zoning requirements, utility interconnection, tax revenues and investment opportunities from small and community wind industry experts.

The committee has two co-chairs who understand the resources within DWEA and leverage the organization to provide solutions for fellow mid-size sector members.
