Dr. John Hryn
Argonne National Laboratory

Dr. Hryn is a principal process development engineer at Argonne with extensive experience in process technology development and the scale-up of innovative technologies. He also serves as Senior Advisor for Program Development to the Energy and Global Security Directorate at Argonne. Dr. Hryn earned his Ph.D. in Metallurgy and Materials Science from the University of Toronto, and has over 25 years of experience in applied research and development. He also represents Argonne in the Power Electronic Industry Collaborative (PEIC) and serves on its Board of Directors. A holder of 7 US patents and over 50 publications, Dr. Hryn currently focuses on developing energy-efficient manufacturing and nanomanufacturing technologies.
