NREL’s administrative offices and most research laboratories are located at our campus in Golden, Colorado, north of highway I-70 and west of Denver West Boulevard. See Golden visitor information to plan your trip.

Visitors must check in at the Site Entrance Building. Please see Security Procedures for Golden Laboratories and Administrative Offices.

NOTE: You must check in at the NREL Golden Site Entrance Building and provide government-issued photo identification (for example driver’s license, passport, or military ID) to obtain a security badge before entering the site. Foreign nationals must check with DWEA at least 3 business days prior to the meeting (by January 7) to sign and submit a Foreign National Data Card (complete sections 1-18) for approval.
