Join members of the SMART Wind Composites Subgroup for a 90-minute virtual meeting to discuss composite materials and processes used to manufacture structural and non-structural composite parts.
- NREL’s Derek Berry will provide an overview of the U.S. DOE-funded Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation’s planned work on carbon fiber
Slides - Ted Lynch of Strategic Marketing Innovations will provide updates based on recent SAMPE efforts
Slides - Chris Niezrecki of UMass Lowell will describe partnering opportunities with WindSTAR
Slides - SMART Wind’s Trudy Forsyth and Harbec Plastics founder Bob Bechtold will co-lead a discussion on non-structural composites using thermoplastic
